Great experience.. was able to rent the new battery operated Sea Lion 3rd lung for 3 days without the need of a full purchase. Staff was very helpful and explained everything. I will say it’s less of a hassle working with the battery version of the 3rd lung vs the gasoline one. A lot easier to use.. put it in the water and flip the switch..

How much does the PADI Open Water Diver certification cost?

Our PADI Open Water Diver course is competitively priced and includes everything you need: e-learning access, all confined water pool sessions, 4 open water certification dives, and full gear rental for the duration of the course. Contact us directly for current pricing — we regularly run seasonal promotions and bundle discounts for groups or families.

How do I book a dive tour or certification course?

You can book online through our website, call us at (954) 616-5909, or stop by the shop at 259 Commercial Blvd Suite 2, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance to secure your preferred date and time, especially during peak season (October–April). Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your scheduled activity are eligible for a full refund or free rescheduling. Cancellations within 24–48 hours may be rescheduled once at no charge. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable. In the event of unsafe weather or sea conditions, we will reschedule at no cost to you — your safety is always our priority.

What gear is included in a rental package?

Our standard scuba rental package includes a wetsuit, BCD (buoyancy control device), regulator with gauges, mask, fins, and a full tank. We also carry dive computers, underwater lights, and our exclusive tankless diving units (Brownie's Third Lung and BLU3 systems) available for separate rental. All equipment is professionally serviced and sanitized between every use.

Do I need prior experience to try scuba diving?

No prior experience is needed for our Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experience — it's designed for complete beginners aged 10 and up. You'll receive a brief orientation with one of our PADI instructors before entering the water. For full PADI Open Water certification, you must be able to swim 200 meters unaided and be comfortable in the water. Medical conditions may require physician clearance.

Do you offer courses in languages other than English?

Yes! Our team speaks English, Arabic, French, and Spanish. We can conduct courses, briefings, and tours in all four languages. Just let us know your preferred language when booking and we'll match you with the right instructor or guide.

Where are your dive sites located?

We dive the world-class reefs of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, located just 100 yards from shore — one of the most accessible shore-dive destinations in the United States. Our sites feature vibrant coral formations, sea turtles, tropical fish, and visibility regularly exceeding 40–60 feet. No boat required for most dives, making it ideal for beginners and experienced divers alike.

What are your shop hours?

We are open Tuesday through Saturday 10AM–5PM and Sunday 11AM–4PM. Monday is by appointment only. We are located at 259 Commercial Blvd Suite 2, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL 33308. For after-hours gear drop-off, we have a convenient drop box available at the shop.
